The first day of competition in the 2016 indoor season for the University of Cincinnati track and field program started off with quite a bang as Annette Echikunwoke broke the school record in the women’s 20-pound weight throw with a personal best of over five feet to open action at the Kentucky Invitational in Lexington, Ky., Friday night.
